How to play Domindle
Domindle is a free daily domino logic puzzle. Each day you get a small grid split into coloured regions, and a tray of dominoes. Place every domino so that the whole grid is filled and every region satisfies its rule. There is exactly one solution, and you can always reach it by logic alone — no guessing.
Play today's puzzle →The rules on a region
Each coloured region shows a small glyph — its rule for the numbers inside it:
- =N — the cells add up to exactly N
- <N — the cells add up to less than N
- >N — the cells add up to more than N
- = — every cell shows the same number
- ≠ — no two cells share a number
- even / odd — the cells add up to an even / odd number
- ×N — the cells multiply to exactly N
- ↑ / ↓ — the numbers strictly rise / fall across the region
- ↔ — where two tiles touch, the touching ends match (classic dominoes)
Special tiles
- ★ A wild half has no number and satisfies any rule it touches.
- 🔒 A locked tile starts fixed on the board — build around it.
Tips
- The board stays quiet when a region is fine — it only flags a region that's already impossible (so you always know where a mistake is).
- Start with the most constrained regions (a tight =N or ↔ chain) — they force the most.
- Keep a daily streak going; catch up a missed day from the archive to save it.
